President Donald Trump had a surreal, explosive clash with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) at the White House over border wall funding for their first meeting together since Democrats took control of the House of Representatives in the midterm elections.

Leadership. This is what we voted for.
Schumer and Pelosi make me sick. Smug little would be autocrats playing games. The President isn’t playing games.
All the Republicans and Democrats have done for 35 years now is have a conversation while the country became flooded with millions of illegals. And 35 years later they still want to talk about it!
It's all bullsh*t!
Love America, love the wall.
Hate the wall, hate America.
Ugh. I’m so thankful I’m not in politics.
Gov’t shutdown? Around week six....folks are going to be fairly scared. By week twelve? A bunch of representatives will be meeting hour by hour, to figure some way out of the mess.
Love it..!
Not just TALK about transparency, but ACTUAL transparency, wow..!
First time in recent history..?
Probably..!
PROGRESS..!
POTUS, Trump, time for talks and negotiations are over. End your meeting with these two low life characters and, shutdown the Federal Government...like right now!!! End of story!!!
All he needs to to is tweet or have Sanders put out a press release EVERY single DAY about trouble at the border, crimes committed by illegal aliens, immigration statistics, drug busts, etc - what ever is in the news that day that shows how important the wall is.
End every one with “Our nation is in danger because we don’t have border security - tell the Democrats to Built The Wall!”.
Lather, rinse, repeat...
People only remember what they’ve been told, time after time. Nobody learned the multiplication table by have read it one time, this needs to become a mantra...a drumbeat...
Build The Wall! And everything that happens until it is built is the Democrats fault.
Pence is a great guy, and the VP job is mostly symbolic, I get that.
But I can’t believe that with all that mud flying around that Pence simply SAT there.
Didn’t say ONE word.
Great guy, but, uh....I’m kinda disgusted with him.
Note that it was the president who had the “surreal shouting match”, not Chuckles and Ninny.
Schumer: “elections have consequences, Mr. President”
Trump: “ and thats why the country is doing so well.
My thoughts: It is unclear what the country really wants in regards to the Wall. If they really thought it was necessary, why did they hand back Congressional power to the Democrats?
That needed to happen IMO.
Pence looked like he was watching a ping pong match.
I hope the body language woman on youtube covers this. Schumer was closed up tighter than a clam while Pence was open and self confident, quite contrasting to schumer.
After Trump goes away..?
IT WILL BE SOOOOOOOO BORING.
No way in hell can anyone top him.
Just finished watching it, that was AMAZING, even by Trump standards.
LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE HONEST SCREAMING..!
Certainly glad Trump is going to fight this battle that has been ongoing since the Secure Fence Act of 2006. Bush never wanted it to be funded, and Boeing saw this as a cash cow for radar, ground sensors, blimps, FLIRS ets, but never a physical barrier beyond a mile or so.
This is the way it SHOULD be..WE should hear it all, all out in the open..I thought “Journalists” want an open and free press..for everyone to hear EVERYTHING going on in Govt..meanwhile Nancy Pelosi wanted to shut it down, didnt want the press to hear a peep, will be waiting for the media outrage about that/sarc
That performance by Trump:
THAT is what the yellow vests want from some FRENCH guy.
Someone who sticks up for THEM.
Trump was careful to say WALL about 100 times.
I approve.
