If the leftist thugs targeting these monuments to the Confederate dead are not stopped soon next will be the Founding Fathers of this country. The vast majority was slave holders. President Trump has said that very thing. Stop these anarchists now or have the 82nd Airborne protect the White House, because after all some slaves were used in its construction. Also put the US military around the Washington Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, or any other memorial to the Founding Fathers. Unless protected they will all be destroyed. Mount Vernon and Monticello will be burned to the ground. Because don’t forget both Washington and Jefferson were slave holders. And don’t think the Lincoln Memorial will be safe. He might have ‘freed’ the slaves but his wife’s family owned slaves and occasionally Uncle Abe would tell a “racist” joke.
