I spend the most on my work boots-I wear them every day, all year so I buy the ones with steel toes-like Northland, Brazos, etc. My other boots are not as expensive, but I don’t wear them to work, either. I do buy cheap summer sandals for going out.

Grrrr. Winter weather here and I'm wearing my dirt-cheap, no-skid shoes. Perfectly safe to walk around on ice with - I can about stick to walls with them! - but they're $20/pair and probably overpriced at that. :-)

Oh well, my dogs are barking today but at least I don't need to worry about sitting down unexpectedly!
