5 things the Trump admin has done that go against its climate change warning

Washington - Since the Trump administration released its blockbuster report on the day after Thanksgiving outlining the dire environmental and economic impacts of climate change, it has made a series of policy and diplomatic decisions or statements that appear run counter to all of the warnings in the report.

Here's what the administration has said and done since Thanksgiving:

Coal rule rollback:

The Environmental Protection Agency last week proposed relaxing regulations for newly-built coal-fueled power plants. Combined with another proposal to replace the Obama-era Clean Power Plan, the two rules would overhaul the way coal-fired plants are built and regulated.

Sides with Russia, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait at climate conference;

Considering Trump announced the US would walk away from the Paris climate agreement -- which brought together the rest of the world -- it's no surprise the US continues to be an outlier on the international stage.

Walks away from G20 agreement:

At the recent G20 meeting in Argentina, which came just days after the release of that dire climate report, US diplomats insisted on noting that the US reaffirmed its intention to withdraw from the Paris accord.

'Christmas came a few weeks early':

When the US Geological Survey last week announced a major discovery of oil and natural gas underneath Texas and New Mexico, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke called it a gift.

Cuts to sage grouse habitat:

The Interior Department proposed to cut protections that benefited the sage grouse, a grassland bird that lives in the Great Plains and western states, which could allow for expanded oil and drilling.

The climate change cult is in absolute panic.

World hasn’t come to an end and their agenda is dead in France.

Merry Christmas!

The sad and frightening part of this is that a large proportion of the population apparently believes this fictional garbage.

When the US Geological Survey last week announced a major discovery of oil and natural gas underneath Texas and New Mexico, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke called it a gift.

It's hysterical that they think this discovery was anything but a gift.

They're not the sagest of grouses over there on the left.

I wish I could find a species on the verge of extinction.
I would wipe them out in order to celebrate this news.

"Winning!"

Maybe, you'll have to wait and see what the judges say. When Obama implemented those regs on new coal plants in 2010 it had to go all the way to SCOTUS who ruled for Obama 6 to 3 with Roberts and Kennedy voting with the 4 democrats against the 3 federalists.

Correct, world wide a very large percentage of the population accepts global warming. All 195 nations are parties to the Climate Treaty and all of them signed the Paris agreement.

Here in the US the GOP gets huge sums of money from the fossil fuel companies. The arabs and the ruskies are also totally dependent on fossil fuel.

The biggest lie is that these are “ fossil fuels”
The Russians have known otherwise for decades
When they admit to finding carbon - based ideposits on other planets it may change their narrative

Quite obviously Mr. Trump didn’t have effective control over “his administration” in this instance.

And considering the high hydrogen content of natural gas, and the fact that it has resulted in the reduction of the use of coal in America, finding more NG is hardly a “climate catastrophe.” Even assuming, as I do not, that CO2 is “all that” as a hazard.

Even knowing that “controlled fusion power has been 'ten years away’" for half a century now, Scott Adams believes people who are telling him that it has been reduced from a science problem to an engineering problem - and actually is only ten years down the road. If so, a lot of “intractable” problems will go whist. Starting with manmade CO2, but including water desalination, windmill bird kill—and who knows what-all.

I have often wondered about what actual proportion of the citizenry actually believe this “man-caused climate change” garbage. I tend to believe there are a lot of the more sensible folks left in this country.

If you look at the proportion of people who vote Democrat you probably approximate the number of dim wits who believe this drivel.
