Cookie retailer Mrs. Fields will pay more than $26,000 in penalties to settle a claim that it discriminated against non-U.S. citizens authorized to work. The U.S. Department of Justice announced the agreement in a news release Thursday with the Broomfield, Colorado-based company

According to the article, the company,
"requested lawful permanent residents at its Salt Lake City distribution center between March 2016 and March 2017 show specific Department of Homeland Security-issued documents. But they didn't enforce the same requirement on workers who were U.S. citizens." How else can those who are non-U.S. citizens show they are lawful permanent residents?
Duh!
How many US citizens have Department of Homeland Security-issued documents? I know I don't.

AND THIS, kiddies, is why companies train employees to NEVER question the documents presented by an employee, even if they are clearly fake. And it has been since the 90’s.

authorized how and by whom? A Green Card. My guess: DACA, so "legal" only in the sense that Obama violated the law and corrupt judges supported that illegal and unconstitutional act.
