That was the GOPe desperately trying to dislodge Trump.

He had to clear the decks of the FBI, DOJ, corrupt judges, the CIA...

(...and go after a couple corrupt allies *cough* Five Eyes *cough*)

There are a couple of executive orders which kick in January 1 which may make some difference.

As far as candidates are concerned, the GOP has a huge advantage. So far, all the potential Democrat contenders are has-beens and never-will-bes.

McCain died, he defeated the Obamacare repeal, but where is the bill now that Jon Kyle is there to vote aye? Mitch is slow moving Turtle.

And where is the Wall funding? Illegals cost us $130 billion per year, the wall will cost $110 Billion less so why isn’t a wall a no brainer? And that is not to mention halting lots of drugs crossing the border.

No Wall, no healthcare, no middle class tax cut so far, this is all ignoring the Trump voters expectations, and the Republicans expect us to vote for them, no way.

That’s all great. But without the right leader or candidate, it’s all a waste. And I hope eventually the era of whoever raises the most cash wins, is slowly coming to a close. That’s a terrible way to run an election and could be quite scary if fat cash people like Soros and others are bent on buying elections and politicians. Our elections are becoming fraud farms...Lots of cash involved, bribes, payoffs..selling influence..on and on...

Maybe this was intended for Jim Robinson, who like us is part of the small Calfornia band keeping the flame alive.

Meg Whitman was a worthless sack of crap who should have had a D next to her name. But then most of what gets pushed on us out here by the national GOP is just as bad as her. Neel Kashkari, the Hindu Obama, the heart throb of Jeb, Mitt, Condi and all the rest of those losers.

Worse yet, I live in Orange County where the Rats took all five House Seats.

It just took them two weeks after Election Day to do it.

“The Democratic National Committee has a few concerns heading into 2019. For starters, their cash flow is not even in the same stratosphere as the Republicans’ haul. The RNC raised $227.2 million in 2018 to the DNC’s nearly $120 million.”

This is such nonsense. The democrat dark money from billionaires like Steyer, Bloomberg, Soros, Public Employee unions, Abortion Lovers, etc far far outspends R’s in every election cycle. It isn’t even close.

Look for the Democrats to become even more radicalized. A record number of Muslims voted for Democrats this year.

It is an axiom of politics that most money and effort spent on campaigns is wasted. That is especially so of money spent on ad buys late in campaigns. In contrast, early money spent on professional political staff, organization, research, databases, and candidate recruitment is far more effective. And for the 2020 election, Trump and the GOP seem likely to have a lot more money early on and to spend it more shrewdly and effectively than the Democrats.

The Democratic party's bickering over their central voter database and other organizational issues and their massive field of Presidential candidates do not auger well. Dumping hundreds of millions of dollars on late ad buys will do little to remedy the Democratic party's likely handicaps. And if Trump wins reelection by a large margin, he is likely to carry a lot of Republican candidates to victory with him.

“They out raised us through PAC’s and private crowd funding by several hundred million in 2018...”

Correct, to them the DNC is a nuisance. Their real fundraising is direct to the candidates through the mega-billionaire/insane leftist nexus, combined with a much better exploitation of both commercial an social media. This gives them a funding advantage of several billion dollars. We are all chortling about Beto flushing $80M in his run for Cruz, but he got within 1-1/2%. In Texas. Leftists almost certainly cheat — it is simply part of their strategy and until we figure out how to stop it the cheating will continue while we clutch our pearls — but the fact remains they want to win more than we do.

Neither the DNC nor the RNC finance candidates. Candidates are financed by House and Senate campaign committees and ‘independent’ PACs. The Dems schlonged the GOP this past election, candidate by candidate.
