I don't know much about Pence's Chief of Staff, who is rumored to take the job. He's young and energetic, so there's that going for him. Bill Shine probably has a good handle on communications, but may lack the legislative chops you mentioned.

The presidential assistant who was forced out a year ago for some PC error / anger management involving his wife would be good to bring back. Screw him. Even his wife didn't think he should lose his job because of it.

Needs to be someone like John Sununu but not so GOPe. Will be really difficult to find but that’s what he needs. He should check with Freedom Caucus to see which staffer would make the best fit. Pence s young man has a young family, I think that job is way too much for a young family man.
