Victorina Morales, a housekeeper at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., disclosed in an interview with The New York Times this week that she had been working illegally at the facility for more than five years.
Ms. Morales, 45, a Guatemalan immigrant, entered the United States at the California border without inspection in 1999 and settled in Bound Brook, N.J., a community that is about a 20-minute drive from Mr. Trump’s flagship golf club.
Before working there, she packed Huggies disposable diapers, Dove soap and Neutrogena products at a warehouse and cleaned bathrooms at a hotel.
At the Trump golf course, Ms. Morales was often called on to clean Mr. Trump’s private residence. She said he was demanding in terms of cleanliness, but also friendly, sometimes handing out tips of $50 or $100. But she said a supervisor often taunted her about her undocumented status, and she was deeply disturbed when Mr. Trump began publicly railing against undocumented immigrants from Latin America, often characterizing them as criminals.
She described how supervisors at the golf club were not only aware of her undocumented status, but took steps to help keep her and others at work. A manager, she said, helped her procure a phony green card and Social Security card.

The article said she doesn’t like her and others being characterized as criminals, but she is a criminal. I wonder what would happen to me if I fraudulently obtained a social security card.
She should have gone to Trump, told him her dilemma, and asked him for help. He is a nice man, particularly fond of good hard workers which she appears to be. She has made a horrible mistake coming out against the one man who might have helped her. I imagine Trump would be interested in punishing her tormentors, but honestly, the poor man has come under unremitting fire. I feel bad for her and I feel badly for him because he has gotten such a raw deal in the press.

Ahh, I love how they still use the word immigrant, but this is a hit piece against Trump and they still couldn’t say she was illegal. LOL. Their own PC nonsense, just laugh at them
BTW Bound Brook was an old Italian Immigrant neighborhood, but a lot of them left after the floods in the 90’s now it is mostly latin american (some legal, some not)

As hard as the Times and MSN tires to make the article about President Trump, in reality it is just about a couple of common criminals breaking the law

One reason why this is so difficult to address is that the nod-wink was happening in both GOP and Democrat dominated environs. What ought to happen in principle, and what can actually be mustered, are two different things.
It’s a lefty fight thing to zero in with laser focus on penalty questions, pulling law-and-order conservatives down that rabbit trail. Don’t take the trap. The answer should be: just do what’s possible to fix the problem. Ever been in the heart of a major city in rush hour? Unless something really gross goes wrong, the city cops don’t stop traffic and give tickets when to do that would freeze the gridlock. They just try to hustle the traffic along.
