America came together for a few weeks after 9/11, until liberals started saying that we deserved it, or Bush did it, or Israel did it, or anything other than we were attacked unjustly by Muslim fanatics.
Actually it seems to me it was about six months when many flags were flown and churches were full. Then, business as usual led by Congress. The one thing I gave George W. credit for was being a good wartime president. Other than that, not so hot.
I remember how the left almost immediately blamed America (and Israel) and they went into overtime excusing Islam.
