Here’s an old one from the early 90’s I just discovered.
“I Saw The Sign” by Ace of Base”.
I include it here, because due to the lead singers’ accent, many people still think she’s saying “Light” instead of Sign.
Ace of Base is a Swedish group made up of two sisters, one brother and a cousin.
It’s a fun, quirky song, has a Reggae beat. Put’s one in a good mood. Lots of synthesizers. I had to listen to it multiple times before I could understand anything she or the Chorus were saying.
I have memories of this song.I was producing a Teen Dance show TV at the time.One of our volenteer’s was torn between leaving his wife or going back to his regular job.Father heard his confession on the set.He asked me to play this song after confession and dance with me.He left and got a regular job.:)
