I think that I heard the preacher in the homily say, “Yes, he was a Republican, but...” as if we (good Dems that we are) can excuse that evil part of Bush 41 because he was such a kind person.
Notice how GHW Bush’s VP, Dan Quayle has been totally ignored by the media? He was blasted by the MSM during his VP term; another decent guy destroyed by the political elite.
