Yes, I lost it then right along with him....strangely so as I’m not one to do so... yet somehow throughout this entire event I think some of us had a sense that God would be amidst it all........ and it certainly proved so.

I saw that in this service and the kick off was when Trump and Flotus went to the rotunda viewing. You could see they were affected by Bushs death....when Trump raised his hand and saluted..well that did it for me.

The state of nature in a pure form. The biggest flaw in the Constitution is Article III. Several "Causes" that were not hammered out but compromised so that something could pass were secondary flaws. Either one is better than a monarchy because the productive class and an upwardly mobile class at least have a say in matters unlike the totalitarianism you promote. Hamilton/Adams promoted the natural aristocracy, Jefferson (You mentioned) railed against this. Their "egoism" won out, not the classical liberals which you derail that, so the monster you see now is the monster you wanted in the first place.

Those who debated the Constitution had different trains of thought. Reliance on a ambiguous central State won out which has propelled your corporate/big business State through case law (Reading way too much in the Commerce Clause) and "the king's law" (Administrative law) that Congress (Weaponized the Necessity and Proper clause) regrettably passed on their power to.

Because if the new boss is the same as the old boss, might one be more favorable yet?

Our system right now emulates your proposal in more ways than one because of the strong centralized State. The minority of those you say were driven by egoism were against this centralized State that you proposed. Madison is Exhibit A from realizing the flaws since he backtracked from his previous mistakes. Unfortunately this was too late.
