The Congressional committee hired Crowd strike. That would be Speaker of the House Paul Ryan’s bailiwick.. House Republicans did lose seats in the midterms.
I do think that the hiring of Crowd Strike may have been a trap to see how that business operates and how it allowed hacking to occur. We will have to watch and see what develops.
They probably hired Crowd Strike because it paid off the RNC with the biggest “contribution”.
