I just don’t understand criminal mentality. If I just escaped from prison I’d want to lay low and be thinking about creating a fake identity, sneaking into a country with no extradition treaty with the US, or myriad other things. I wouldn’t be kicking down doors knowing law enforcement was looking for me.
Might be hard to lay low if you are wearing prison clothes such as an orange jumpsuit. Getting rid of those would be job #1. Plus you would need food and money and shelter before you started worrying about extradition treaties.
