“...spent over 4 grand on a single cat.”
And a friend of mine spent $3k on a bunny rabbit, it still died.
Can’t say I ever considered canine vitamin D synthesis before. Learn something new every day around here.
It’s hard to lose a beloved pet. Our little mini dachshund is winding down. He’s my husband’s little buddy, but he’s preparing himself for his loss.
Lost one last Thursday. The pain is still intense.
Condolences.
Most good brands do not.
*All* Purina foods are infested with it.

You have to look at the label.

I’m currently using Victor Nutra Pro, Stella & Chewy Raw Blend and several of Instinct’s varieties.
I was a fan of Taste Of The Wild until they decided glorified beans were a good idea.
Stopped buying it.
All my dogs, even the Portuguese Podengo Medio who is not a toy or chewy fan, love them.
Cleans their teeth great, too.
What good is synthetic if it’s been banned for human use because it kills people?
You do what you want.
I do not buy dog foods with a 50 year shelf life.
All my brands have a year or less expiration dates.
They don’t need to embalm their products.
More than you really wanted to know.

I only learned that fairly recently myself, though not here. You do learn something new every day.
