How about Hillary, huh? Look at her holding those two big guys up. What a gal!
Bkmk
I’ve about had it with the GOP.
Never forget this woman is still a Leftist.
Its really good. She gets it.
Camille Paglia is a self-described feminist so of course she’ll tend to view through those lens.
If the economy continues strong, Trump will be reelected. The Democrats (my party) have been in chaos since the 2016 election and have no coherent message except Trump hatred. Despite the vast pack of potential candidates, no one yet seems to have the edge. I had high hopes for Kamala Harris, but she... has already imprinted an image of herself as a ruthless inquisitor... Screechy Elizabeth Warren has never had a snowballs chance in hell to appeal beyond upper-middle-class professionals of her glossy stripe. Kirsten Gillibrand is a wobbly mediocrity. Cory Booker has all the gravitas of a cork. Andrew Cuomo is a yapping puppy with a long, muddy bullyboy tail. Both Bernie Sanders (for whom I voted in the 2016 primaries) and Joe Biden (who would have won the election had Obama not cut him off at the knees) are way too old and creaky... Ive been looking at Congresswoman Cheri Bustos of Illinois and Governor Steve Bullock of Montana. As for Hillary, shes pretty much damaged goods, but her perpetual, sniping, pity-me tour shows no signs of abating... I dont see our stumbling, hacking, shop-worn Evita yielding the spotlight willingly to any younger gal... Most Democrats have wildly underestimated Trump from the get-go. I was certainly surprised at how easily he mowed down 17 other candidates in the GOP primaries. He represents widespread popular dissatisfaction with politics as usual. Both major US parties are in turmoil and metamorphosis, as their various factions war and realign.
Thanks plain talk.
Hey, Sunk
What do you know about the underground cities in Italy, for example?
I’m a historian and I love the past - we toured one and it was fabulous!
Your recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello, my friend!
Hey ...you don’t think the independents are going a anywhere, are they?
Hello dear. The ‘’independents? You mean voters? I don’t know.
Surprised me, looks like there are tons of ‘em. The only one that came to mind before this search was the catacombs in Rome, but apparently it’s kind of a common thing. I’ll make the wild guess that you visited Orvieto?
Another thing that you may stumble on, particularly in NW Italy, are “independent” city-states, in large part done for tourism, but the union of and origin of the modern Italian state resulted in a couple of recognized independent states inside of Italy — the Vatican City, and San Marino, purportedly the world’s oldest extant republic.

Paglia is actually a decent person, not a screeching new-wave feminazi who is full of hate. She was actually speaking out against the femiminsts hatred of men and that it has to stop.
Yes. Paglia is at least a thinking leftist and not a blind partisan. Compared to where the left is these days Paglia is a rational leftist.
