Hmmm - I think you’re confusing “Volt” for “Bolt”. The Chevy Bolt is not listed as one of the 6 cars (per your link) being cancelled and the total units of the Chevy BOLT is around 40,000 units....a long way from 200,000.
Chevrolet has significant plans for EV’s and it wouldn’t make sense to discontinue the Bolt at this time.
Then your issue is with politicians who create the subsidies. My impression is that Musk goes after subsidies for competitive reasons. For instance, his companies hire a lot of veterans and they receive subsidies for doing so.
I have yet to see a FReeper get angry at Foxconn for receiving subsidies. They get more than Tesla and they aren’t even an American company.
None of them. All of the signing countries’ emissions rose. The only one whose emissions fell since the signing, is the US, who has withdrawn from the pact.
Time to short Tesla.
Yesterday, driving down from the mountains in Colorado, I passed a Tesla stuck in bumper to bumper traffic as I zoomed by in the espresso toll lane. I thought to myself, “guy spends a zillion dollars on a Tesla but won’t spend $7 for the toll lane. Amazing. “
btw President Trump is not alone - notice who else is refusing to ratify Paris (there are more). more power to President Trump - demolish the scam that is the Paris climate accord:
3 Dec: BBC: Climate change: Trump effect threatens Paris pact
By Matt McGrath
The author says that the US withdrawal from Paris has created the moral and political cover for others to follow suit, citing the examples of Russia and Turkey which have both declined to ratify the Paris deal
On the political front, Russia, Turkey, Australia and Brazil have all cited the example of President Trump to limit their actions on climate change.
Russia and Turkey have said they will not ratify the agreement
https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-46384828?utm_campaign=Carbon%20Brief%20Daily%20Briefing&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Revue%20newsletter
Climate Home: As of 13 July 2018, the countries yet to formally ratify the agreement were Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Nicaragua, Oman, Russia, San Marino, South Sudan, Suriname, Syria, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Yemen.
Finally...This should have never started...one big scheme for politicians and their buddies to steel taxpayer dollars!!!
Amen...biggest scam ever!!!
