In 1990 Bush raised gas tax by 50%, in 1993 Clinton raised it by another 25%.
Since then, all the “experts” claim global warming has not been stopped and is getting worse.
So there’s actual evidence that raising taxes makes global warming worse.
“The elite think in terms of what could happen a century from now, but the poor ordinary folks think of it in terms of how it affects their livelihood today.”
Exactly! There was one yellow jacket protestor who put it very succinctly:
“The Elite worry about the End of the World, we worry about the end of the month.”
And the taxes are incremental, going up again in Jan and again after that in so many months.
