And yet Americans are cutting back on small cars and upsizing into SUV’s. Seems like maybe they give lip service to global warming to avoid harassment but are still making the same energy choices.

If I recall correctly, the agw issue was pretty far down the list of concerns for US citizens. Down there with gun control being an issue for most Americans.

There is no “climate denial”. Everybody agrees there is climate, and that climate does, in fact change over time. The point of contention is not the climate can and does change, it is WHY.

And carbon dioxide, at whatever concentration in the atmosphere, has such a minuscule effect it may be dismissed as none at all. Water vapor is a MUCH more powerful factor in the rate and scope of climate change. And it is from thirty to well over a hundred times the concentration in the atmosphere as carbon dioxide.

This is relatively simple scientific knowledge, and only those who are being willfully ignorant could ever assert otherwise.

They have been pulling that tact for decades:

“Many people believe...”
“Officials say..”
“Most people agree...”
etc.

And very few people call them on that. President Trump does.

Correct. Al Gore is part owner of the patent on carbon credits. No one in the MSM brings that up either.

Sure Al.... That’s why they are rioting in the streets of Paris... Because even the Socialist in France are skeptical of your soothsaying climate change cult.

Based on a survey at my local bar... Those who believe in your cult are few and far between and when Trudeau gets routed in the federal election in Canada next year, after he implements a climate change tax (oddly referred to as a ‘pollution tax’) to disguise it’s actual origin, much like Climate Change needed to be adopted to eliminate ‘Global Warming’ because of our severally brutal winters.

Then you will understand that Climate Change taxes can’t even be implemented in Socialist countries and the gig is up and they’ll need to change their name again... Climate change isn’t working anymore... How about atmospheric anomalies. That’s the ticket... A new name will make it all legitimate again. LOL

Exactly. Who the heck are we to say why something happens, on the bleeping basic of “consensus of [some] scientists?” Didnt Galileo have to deal with this crap? Humans come up with “facts” all the time and call it science, and then 20 or 100 years later learn so much more that said “knowledge” is obsolete.

Why do the world’s people assume anthropogenic climate change is solid fact? There is nothing proving it.
