I moved to SoCal as a teenager in the mid ‘60s. Orange County was the Beach Boys demographic you see in all the TV series set here around that time. It was a bit more ethnically diverse than some parts of the US, but nothing overwhelming.

So I had a front row seat to watch the transformation occur. It was way more noticeable in LA just north of us, but eventually our turn would come. I think something like 50% of our local adult population were born outside of the US. And that’s from all over the 3rd world, not just south of the border.

Demographic diversity is kind of like spice. In small amounts it’s interesting. When it takes over the whole meal, it’s a problem.

I believe you. It occurs to me that the problems South of the border are problems of the mind and spirit. People do not think right down there. The concept of Western Civilization and the rights of man haven't taken root in those cultures.

They are living in mindset of feudalism, and they are bringing it here when they migrate.
