Wondering why so many California Republican seats flipped, many in the last week or so?
As heard on "November 30: Ballot Harvesting in California VIDEO" via the KSFO Morning Show Blog. No real discussion, just a link to the video.
[[Most areas have poll watchers, R and D, present when absentee ballots are opened. They prevent that from taking place.]]
That’s how it’s supposed to work, but who knows if the ‘republicans’ are beyond reproach?
What happens if I vote for more than one, or all the candidates for some office?
No one can fill in their special choice.
Is my whole ballot invalidated, or only that office?
Or is it ‘examined’ to determine my ‘intent’?
Yup, some areas are “so diverse” that it is hard to get any Republican poll watchers.
Who wants to be “R” poll watcher in ghetto districts in Detoilet?
A “over vote” is a spoiled ballot and won’t be counted.

Actually, I'm more concerned about the fraud at the state and local levels than I am about my Congress-critters. It's those bozos in Sacramento that voted for this "Ballot Harvesting" law in 2016, which Moonbat Brown dutifully signed.
Worse yet, the State Legislature, both of which chambers are now so heavily Democrat that even tax and budget bills requiring a super majority to pass does so with no Republicans help needed that come up with and pass these cockamamie laws!
As I read somewhere around here, the U.S. Senators are elected in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sacramento counties, so my vote in "little" Contra Costa County means little to nothing. Also, my Congressman's district crosses county lines, thanks to gerrymandering approved and endorsed by (you guessed it) the State Legislature, so we get lumped in with parts of the area where you can count Republicans on the fingers on one hand.
I'm seriously considering, for my 2019 ballot, to write-in vote for people like "Charlie Brown", "Lucy Van Pelt", "Clark Kent" and others, just to see if they actually show up in the final tally.
You think you have it bad in COntra Costa COunty...Imagine us folks up here in Jefferson. We have what one state senator to represent some 12 or more counties while the County of Los Angeles has 13 State Senators or something like that. State Senators are allocated based upon population after a court decision in the mid 60s. Really chaps our a$$.
