Even ONE MILE of wall, if placed in the right spot, makes life tougher for the Illegals. 215 miles will help tremendously.

Just a bummer that Trump wouldn’t shut down the government 2 years ago for this.

Wish we could obtain $25B in funding and get ‘er done. The wall will pay for itself in lower welfare, school, hospital costs.

$5,000,000,000 / 215 = $23,255,813 Per mile?

I know it’s a government contract, but $23 million for a mile? That seems expensive. How many land mines could one purchase for $23 million?

That’s a very good start! Building the wall in sections to fortify the busiest crossing areas is totally fine with me.

Mexico will pay for this one way or another, I’ve no doubt.

But that doesn’t mean those feckless, wholly-owned Dems and RINOs in Congress will fund it in the first place. That’s the biggest challenge/hurdle. And we didn’t get any closer after losing the House to the open borders Left.

Pass a Build the Wall Bond. 10% paid by the government and “recovered” from Mexico. You would have the money in no time at all. Would only have to pay the interest on money initially.

maybe he can get the money then renegotiate with builders for more miles for the amount he gets congress to approve?

Gotta be effective cheaper ways to close up areas they cross most or easiest

Liberals like the phrase, Bridges, not Walls.

I like these phrases:

Landmines, not Walls.

Machine Gun Nests, not Walls.

Live Fire Drill Restricted Areas, not Walls.

Alligator Filled Moats, not Walls.

Walls and more Walls.

that is a very very expensive wall, but i guess extremely high costs are to be expected of a government program

let’s get it done, already!

Spend the money on ammo and have our military shoot them as they try to cross.

Wall funding so soon? Gosh the gop are just so quick to fulfill promises. We are indeed saved.
All of that chuck n nancy spending is paying off quickly, huh?

Just stack connex containers 3 or 4 high, pump concrete slurry into the first two, or dig a trench first and then start stacking. No shortage of connex containers.

I want the Congress to fully fund the entire wall. Not fencing, not wire rolls.

If President Trump can get funding from the Democrat controlled House for 215 miles of The Wall but could get NOTHING from the Republican controlled House, “someone” should be tared and feathered before he goes back to Wisconsin.

215 miles of border wall do a lot of good BUT must placed in the most useful areas. IOW no screwing around with placement. Do it right!
