The only thing that will defeat the left is fear. They must experience fear at some level before they will shut up.
Most regressives will go with who they perceive is the most powerful - most people are sheep. So if they only hear strident noises from the left - that is where they head.
So the right has to get bold, loud and unapologetic. Other regressives might need more persuasion. It is our moral duty to persuade them - at what ever level is necessary.

I would say truth will defeat them. And good men must speak truth with strength to all, repeatedly (just as they repeat their lies).
Fear will agitate them, as with a cornered varmint, but truth is poison to them.
