First lady Melania Trump on Wednesday dismissed those who have mocked the red Christmas trees decorating the White House for the holidays, during an event at Liberty University in Virginia.
"We are in [the] 21st century and everybody has a different taste. I think they look fantastic,” she said, inviting the students to sign up for a tour to view the holiday decor. “In real life, they look even more beautiful.”
Trump unveiled the decorations on Monday in a video on Twitter, showing 40 crimson topiary trees lining the eastern colonnade of the White House.
Trump attended a town-hall-style event in Lynchburg to discuss the growing opioid epidemic, appearing alongside former Fox News host Eric Bolling, whose son died last year from an accidental overdose.
Bolling used the forum as a rare opportunity to ask Trump questions about her life since she’s moved into the White House.
She said she and her husband don’t have much time together in the evenings because of their busy schedules.
“We are very, very busy. We have own schedules. I'm very busy, he's very busy. In the evenings, we get together, try to have a dinner together. And just talk, what's happened from the day, then go on with the schedule that we need to do. When you're first lady, there's no free time,” she said.

The red trees were a bold move; IMO they look better in some pics than others. I would think being able to see their detail in person would be quite stunning.
She should say that the trees are showing their revolutionary spirit and support for all progressive peoples worldwide, just to tweak the left’s noses.
I've had up to here. The liberals create vile artificial memes and tropes, then vilify conservatives when they breach those artificial imaginings. I have never read of or seen 'The Handmaid's Tale' and never will. I am certain the First Lady hasn't got time for nor the inclination to see such debauchery either.
I long for the time when they push us over the edge and their problems will leave in a puff of smoke or smokeless... whatever.

The Obamas would have black trees with a crescent moon on top, to look like those silly black tent dresses muzzies wear, or perhaps some brown dildo-looking trees. And the MSM would applaud the Obamas.

From what I’ve seen from vids and pics...she drew those illustrations, correct? I knew she did drawings of her jewelry with an architectural background.
I think the trees are stunning. IIRC...there was a section that was all white last year. I will bet blue will be introduced next year.
