This sounds really sad. I can’t tell if the story is contrived because the way it’s written, he isn’t fitting the dx for gender dysphoria. He is also way too young to make any major decisions. However, for his health, his behavior, dress, and choice of toys should be HIS OWN and not the parents’. At the age of 6, gender is HUGE for children as they learn to socially identify. They are messing him up royally. I hope they homeschool him.
No! He is a boy and should be treated as a boy. The only truth here is his biological sex. The idea that one can have a gender that differs from one's true sex is BS!
