Politics is about legislating morality. Always has been.

You make a very good point. Maybe 50 years ago it wouldn't have been a deal breaker but the differences between normal people and liberals today are insurmountable. LGBQT?, abortion, gay marriage...how could any conservative patriot ever even consider being with someone on the wrong side of those issues?
I kinda feel sorry for her as her father abandoned his family when she was apparently in her early teens all so he could openly be a flaming pervert with his butt buddy. That abandonment probably significantly contributed to her being a drunkard and also getting raped.
