No one hacked the system long enough to download that much data. Someone copied it locally and provided it

Yep, it was ‘the guy in the room’ scenario, which tied up all the loose ends for me. No hack....no mystery guy in some foreign country....no Russians or North Koreans. I might even be willing to believe some other party accomplished the act, and Seth Rich accidentally stumbled upon the situation and was killed by the insider hacker.

Of course. They expect us to believe that the DNC doesn’t have a team of IT specialists, and they couldn’t figure out who accessed the files, from where, and when. And then of course, claiming they were “hacked”, refused to let the FBI investigate the hack by examining the servers. In any other circumstance the case would end there for lack of evidence.

And if that isn’t incredible enough, then they claimed that “17 intelligence agencies”, which was really only a couple of hand-picked people from a couple of agencies who had no access to the server, state that it was likely Russian hackers. The main evidence for this claim is that the documents obtained from Wikileaks had Russian encoding. However, at least 5 of the documents had identical coding which indicates that these documents were cut and pasted onto a template - in other words, they were likely forged to appear as if they passed through Russian hands.

Given what we now know about the FBI’s involvement in spying on the Trump campaign; planting a foreign agent (MI6 agent Steele) with known biases and Russian ties into Fusion GPS so he could pass bogus information straight to the DOJ’s #4 deputy director via his wife’s employment at Fusion and bypassing all the normal vetting processes for intel in order to create under false pretenses a justification to spy on the opposition; Comey drafting the exoneration of Hillary months before they completed the investigation, lying to the FISA court; the set-up of Carter Page & Papadopoulis & Don Jr and General Flynn among others by planting them with information in order to later solicit the information to justify their spying; leaking info to the media etc etc, it should be clear that the handling of the DNC leak was just part and parcel of the hand & glove cooperation to rig the 2016 elections in their favor. It must be one hell of a gravy train but if they had won perhaps none of this would be known today.

But shock, Hillary still lost the election, and so they continued to push this phony Russia story as misdirection and propaganda to avoid further scrutiny of their own criminal conspiracy. The Mueller appointment was specifically targeted at Trump despite zero evidence of a crime to further the misdirection and buy them time to mop up to the extent possible evidence of collusion and criminal conspiracy. That Rosenstein, who himself is conflicted and should have recused, appointed Mueller who is conflicted and should have recused to investigate Trump and no other candidate or campaign is a miscarriage of justice and an act of vengeance, sedition, and institutional cover-up.

In fact, the DNC claim of a hack and subsequent refusal to allow investigation is troubling in several ways. There exists the possibility that the DNC has one or more moles, foreign spies, who stole the information from inside the DNC. It is dereliction of duty not to investigate this possibility. Either the DNC was hacked from the outside, or it was leaked by a whistleblower, or it was leaked by a spy. But the FBI could not know because they were denied the ability to investigate. It suggests that they do in fact know exactly what happened, and that the story they are selling is a fabrication because if there was the possibility that the DNC had a mole, you would think the DNC and the country would want to find that mole. Instead, they just concocted a cover story and then pushed it to the max.

We should at least distinguish between the DNC emails and Podesta emails. For DNC, infoworld says "DNC used an on-premise Microsoft Exchange" and they go on to criticize how that setup is susceptible to an insider threat. Infoworld is not a conspiracy blog, just a tech site stating facts.

For Podesta, the first sentence on wikipedia is "In March 2016, the personal Gmail account of John Podesta..." Unless you believe that google employees pulled an inside hack, then it makes more sense that the Podesta hack was external. The common story is that Podesta receieved a phishing email, was told it was legitimate by IT, and gave up his password to a phishing site.

As for the "long enough to download that much data" idea, that's pretty much a nonissue with high speed connections.
