The midterm elections did not give Democrats a singular leader to rally behind, nor did it settle ideological divides in the party. But the results can tell us a lot about the mood among Democratic voters, and what they might be looking for in a 2020 presidential nominee.
First, much hay has been made about the choice between progressives on one hand and moderates or centrists on the other. You could read the midterms results as vindication for the latter; outspoken progressives like Kara Eastman in Nebraskas 2nd Congressional District and Leslie Cockburn in Virginias 5th Congressional District fell short, while a large number of self-described moderate Democrats flipped Republican-held seats in contests across the country.

So is Bernie Sanders.
Actually these “Irishmen” were deserters from the U.S. Army. They were eventually hung.
Then, there was that other convention, when:

It’s 50-50 at this point.
Trump is NOT a lock for reelection.
The media, NFL, sports, etc. are going to be in full force against him.
One of those people will get the full Jeb treatment. All of them, actually.
Not only white men but all white women should never vote demo_rat.
JoMa
Don’t count on the Jewish vote. They seem to have an affinity for socialism and communism. I have no idea why.
Or Biden or Schumer.....or Beto because whatever he is, he looks White-ish.
So, if you identify with the color “shocked”, do we have to give you special rights now? I mean I am so scared of being called a racist, that I just want to make sure I don’t offend you. And I am a female and you “claim” you are a man, so I don’t want to be considered sexist either.
I am so confused!
