Univision anchor Jorge Ramos said on Monday that America has a responsibility to “easily absorb” the caravan migrants and claimed it can do so “without significant economic consequences.”
“It’s not an invasion. The U.S. can easily absorb these refugees without significant economic consequences. Many countries in the world help the 65 M people who are displaced,” Ramos claimed in an Instagram post. “And the most powerful nation in history also has responsibilities. We simply have to do our share.”
On Monday, San Diego Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott noted that “the vast majority of those, from what we call the northern triangle, they are economic migrants.”
“They don’t meet the qualifications to get asylum here,” Scott said.

It has been sorely abused by these greedsters..... "asylum" is a relic of WW 11 designed for people fleeing war-torn Europe.

I’m with Jorge Ramos; I want the United States of America to do our share.
Step 1: Avoid generational appropriation, which is far worse than mere cultural appropriation. If we steal the next generation from Honduras, from Guatemala, from El Salvador, and from the rest, who will support those who are left behind? It’s immoral and politically incorrect for us to commit generational appropriation against less developed countries.
Step 2: While the illegal invaders here do send money home, we are exploiting those workers. Now that they have developed the high-level skills to “do the work Americans won’t do”, we need to send them home so their own countries can benefit from their productivity directly instead of through mere capitalist financial support.
Step 3: We need to build the Wall. Since the Wall will be on or near the border, there is a whole lot of work available to Mexicans, building a great big, beautiful Wall. We owe it to them to provide those jobs.

We take in more immigrants per capita than any other country in the world.
