On a person's birth certificate, it has ALWAYS said "S-E-X", to be filled out as male or female; until recently in some states.

On driver's licenses, it says "S-E-X" too.

If you have to go to the hospital for a test, or a stay, your wristband and paperwork will say "S-E-X" followed by a F or M for female or male.

And on and on and on.....
