You will be glad to know that they came down hard on him. No jail time but the fine was considerable and it will take him the rest of his working life to pay it off. I dont understand why you think border patrol agents are treated different than everyone else if anything we are treated more harshly than others. With the restrictions placed on us it is almost impossible for us to do our jobs.

I can't understand setting explosives in tinder dry grasslands....
often in my semi arid area July 4th activities are cancelled if its too dry....
the authorities will issue no shooting/not even target shooting warnings...no burning or outside campfires, etc...
