Actually, Gerald Ford said this:

Former Republican president Gerald Ford recently paid tribute to John Paul Stevens, his only appointee to the Supreme Court, who is also far more liberal than Republicans expected. "He has served his nation well, ... with dignity, intellect and without partisan political concerns."

“He was the one who actually wrote the dissenting opinion, arguing that firearm ownership had to be connected to militia service.”

Well, dipsh*t, the Framers didn’t establish that requirement you so lamely reference. In fact, George Mason, the author of the 2nd Amendment, later stated the people comprise the “militia”’as a bulwark against tyranny.

If Trump’s only accomplishments are appointments to the SCOTUS he is a great President.

Stevens himself was as bad as the three you mention. He helped to sink the hapless Gerald Ford in the race against GA Jimmuh.

Soeter, Stevens, Roberts...Can anyone explain to me how Republicans appoint all the wobbly or turncoat Justices while all the Justices Demonrats appoint are lifelong loyal libtard extremists? We could have had an all conservative Court by now if Republican justices didn’t keep flipping.

Roe was two years before the hapless Stevens arrived on the high court.

Kelo ...

Stevens was one of the five utterly corrupt “Justices” that ruled that rich people have the right to steal whatever they want from little people through the use of eminent domain.

A parcel of barren land in New London, Connecticut stands as a memorial to the arrogance of Stevens and his 4 evil colleauges.

Stevens you are an utter disgrace of a human being and your life is a testimony to your belief that elite are meant to rule over the unimportant little people.

So much for :

I, John Paul Stevens do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

So what did you really get wrong? Creating a legal constitutional limitations across the board. Rot in hell John Paul Stevens. You swore before God. Eternity is a very long time.

Amazing phenomenon, isn't it?

Likewise for "Republican" politicians like Flake, Sasse, McCain, Scarborough, Corker, etc.

How many liberal Democrat politicians turn conservative once elected?

I can't think of a single one.
