Do you think Dershowitz and other guests get paid to be on Fox, MSNBC, etc? I've always wondered about that.
If so, do you have any idea how much they get paid for a couple minutes of face time?
I assumed their "payment" was publicity and self-promotion.
FOX News contributors get big bucks. FOX has been irritating me because they all keep coming out with new books and that is what all their shows are about.
It is nauseating. I do not buy their books.
News outlets lie about their sources. Contributors and consultants obviously get paid, but if labeled guests they probably do not get paid.
Don’t count on the cable channels to be completely honest about which is which.
Not many of these so-called experts will make more than $100k per year for very frequent appearances. Don’t forget that there are experts lined up to do such gigs for free.

Definitely paid. Some get tons of money. A couple times I’ve heard talking heads mention their contracts.
