GM was dead to me when they stole our tax dollars for the 2009 Bailout. They are still dead to me. I hope the company will go under. Sympathy for their workers? Nope. Not until the factories and intellectual property are sold off to a company that is not stealing from productive Americans.

Agreed. I think they will be priced downward enough...that some Chinese company will buy them, and remarket the older brand names, with Chinese employees as the ‘makers’.

At least they paid their's back. Ford still hasn't, and most people don't even know Ford took a bailout.

Ditto. Government Motors is going to go out of business. Good riddance.

There. I fixed it for Old Charlie.

Their cars and all the others are way overpriced and no one can afford to buy new. I haven’t bought a new vehicle since 2004.

And like you GM/Chrysler took the government bailout so I am not interested in anything they offer. They made no significant changes and have lived off the government money for now, but the UAW is slowly strangling them along with poor management decisions.

In 2008 GM and Chrysler could have took chapter 11 bankruptcy and reorganized and tore up their UAW contracts or renegotiated them for the real world. Nope, the UAW needs a bailout GWB/Obumbler.
