Caravan migrants are telling reporters that as their numbers reach 20,000, they plan to invade the United States using the highway at San Ysidro, and they will challenge US control over their border. They say they have NO PLANS to apply for asylum and will knowingly and willfully break US law in order to enter the country, whether we like it or not. There could be a major fly in the ointment. The new president of Mexico takes over very soon and he seems to want to have an improved relationship with the United States. Andrés Manuel López Obrador has already signaled his approval of keeping the caravans in Mexico as they wait for the asylum process.

Marco Gómez, 26, is a construction worker from Honduras who is currently marching with the caravan. According to the Epoch Times, he was with a larger group of migrants who were discussing how they want to "send a message" to President Donald Trump to "open the gates."
"We'll stay together and be strong, and then move on to the U.S.," he said. "Peacefully, like people going from one country to another. Marching." Gómez and several others told the Epoch Times that they plan to enter illegally and are unlikely to apply for asylum.
In a video posted by Pueblo Sin Fronteras, one of the organizations assisting the caravan, a leader is heard saying that there will be an attempt to cross the US border on Sunday, November 25.
"The best day to go to the bridge—peacefully, not with violence—is on Sunday. And write banners with our points — and we don't want the media to publish this before we do it," the leader is heard saying

If this is true this is a planned invasion and should be handled accordingly with a full military response.

This situation is the primary purpose underlying the construction of a federal government in the first place. If the government cannot fulfill this role then the government is illegitimate.
