Good point. I guess it’s the old frog-in-a-boiling-pot syndrome. A tax hike is immediate. But the Islamic invasion is gradual, and long-term. So why worry about it today?
What the French cannot see is that one tax hike will not destroy a nation and its people. But an invasion surely can.

What they really can't or won't see is that these tax hikes wouldn't be necessary if they weren't providing social welfare benefits to hundreds of thousands or even millions of third world economic migrants that are incapable or unwilling to support themselves in a Western style first world democracy and have zero interest of doing so anytime in the foreseeable future.
