Thanks for the update; keep us posted on what is happening at Otay Mesa & TJ.
I just heard on San Diego TV news that the pedestrian crossing at San Ysidro is open again. Car lanes are closed. The San Diego Trolley station at San Ysidro is closed. The huge Plaza De Las Americas shopping mall (on the U.S. side abutting the border fence) was closed on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
Sunday is the busiest day at the busiest border crossing in the world. Not only is this Sunday, it is the end of the Thanksgiving Day weekend. A lot of serious economic damage was done to San Diego and Tijuana today. There are tens of thousands of people who live in TJ and cross legally to go to work in San Diego. Can they get to work tomorrow?
BREAKING NEWS: U.S. military forces are currently preparing and strengthening the border at Otay Mesa and San Ysidro following U.S. - Mexico border rushing.
The border has been completely shut down in these areas. pic.twitter.com/5hUGjUlHoh— BNL NEWS (@BreakingNLive) November 25, 2018
