Yes, Haaretz speaks from Israel’s anti-defense left. As with Israel’s conservative leaders, conservative U.S. leaders have worked with the Saudis for a long time and have gained much for our national security by doing so. Things change for the better sometimes. As for human rights, some of the favorite foreign trading partners of our U.S. left are terrible abusers of human rights.
I used to read Haaretz but they’re a bit to far left for me. Also, I don’t like the idea of having to subscribe to read their articles. I found Arutz Sheva, Israel National News to be more to my taste, and no subscription necessary.
