A rebel attack on Aleppo has left dozens suffering of breathing problems and blurred vision, with a smell of gas reported over the city, according to Syrian media. Officials said all of the victims were civilians.
At least 50 people have been treated for symptoms including breathing difficulties and blurred vision in Aleppo, after rebels fired shells into two regions of the city.
Syrian officials and residents suspect the shells contained poisonous gas, with symptoms suggesting chlorine, according to medical official Haj Taha.
A doctor told Syrian state TV on Saturday that at least two people, including one child, were in critical condition.
Witnesses reported a smell of toxic gas after the projectiles hit, which was also confirmed by the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
"There are often missiles on the city but this is the first time we smelled such a smell," a patient told the state TV while at the hospital.

I’ve had some interaction with that Twitter account. They are in Iraq (and in the US). Aleppo is in Syria. They say they represent all Christians in Iraq, but reality is otherwise.
I won’t go into the details on that. It is not constructive. They are right about the damage. And I expect the “extremists” they mention are Nusra or al Sham. Islamist Terrorists.
Christians have forever been in Iraq (Ninevah) and in Syria. ISIS forced most of the Iraq Christians into exile. There were some in Syria that escaped ISIS by leaving, but many were saved by YPG. A lot of them joined YPG and later had their own elements within the SDF.
“I dont trust Syrian state media.”
You are right to mistrust them. They lie and present propaganda, but not as much as Turkey does. smile.
The chemicals may not have been delivered by artillery shells.
Yes, you are correct. I think in this case it was civilians. So I suspect Islamist Terrorists did it.
I suspect it is Islamist Terrorists associated with Turkey that did it.
“Napping when Aleppo was big in the news a year or so ago?”
Yes I was. -Gary Johnson
Back then was the first time I had heard of Aleppo - then it died out from the news only to pop up again with the same type event.....almost makes one wonder if it’s actually the ones we been blaming.
