I’ve never yet figured out exactly what’s going to kill “all these people”. The temperature going up a few degrees will give them all heat stroke? The warming will mean that crops grow further north and... take longer to ship? The sea level may rise very gradually and those who don’t look for homes further inland will sit in their houses year after year with water around their ankles until one day they tip over and drown? Seriously, what is it that’s going to kill so many people?

People will be better off. We use five times as much energy for heating as we do for cooling and it costs 3X. The recent New England cold snap is getting less frequent. Cold kills and less cold is better.
