Bill Bennett has Trump’s back on judges, and on shutting down the border like Reagan did.

Breaking up the 9th Circuit should be among top agenda for next year. Too bad California can’t be in split into two or three circuits. A shame to leave them as their own or dominating nearby states.

One Free Rep poster said something very perceptive, and more than a little ominous.
This poster thinks Judge Roberts is mouthing off now, about the 9th Court so that when the time comes that Trump makes a decision, and the 9th Court tries to swat it down, Judge Roberts can meekly RECUSE HIMSELF from any involvement in overturning that Court decision.

Roberts would say, ‘My unfortunate debate with the president on this issue, renders my judgement as appearing ‘compromised’. I therefore, recuse myself from any involvement on this issue now before the Supreme Court.”

That would mean a 4 - 4 Supreme Court split, resulting
in no change from that blasted 9th Circuit Court stumbling block of a ruling. Think about it. This is how the Dems play the long game. Justice Roberts could sit in his chamber and silently gloat. Privately thrilled that he has ‘helped’ his liberal pals and Masters once again!

They said Roberts was such a “great conservative” back then when he was put on the court by Bush.

Looks like Trump has flushed the rat out a bit.

Our judges have held themselves above criticism for far to long. They are no more protected than anyone else. It’s about time they start feeling the heat. GO TRUMP!!!!!

Yes, Supreme Court Justice Roberts made quite the political speech. He’s an amazing activist.

John Roberts
Wikipedia
Early life and education
John Glover Roberts was born in Buffalo, New York, the son of Rosemary (née Podrasky) and John Glover "Jack" Roberts Sr. (1928–2008). His father was a plant manager with Bethlehem Steel.[8] His father has Irish and Welsh ancestry and his mother is of Czech ancestry.[9] When Roberts was in fourth grade, his family moved to Long Beach, Indiana. He grew up with three sisters: Kathy, Peggy, and Berbere.

Roberts attended Notre Dame Elementary School, a Roman Catholic grade school in Long Beach. In 1973, he graduated from La Lumiere School, a Roman Catholic boarding school in La Porte, Indiana, where he was a student and athlete.[10] He studied five years of Latin (in four years),[8]

Early legal career
As part of Hogan & Hartson's pro bono work, he worked behind the scenes for gay rights advocates, reviewing filings and preparing arguments for the Supreme Court case Romer v. Evans (1996), which was described in 2005 as "the movement's most important legal victory".

I have a question. Could President Trump pick someone else to be Chief Justice?

Joe diGenova wrote,”This public criticism of the President was not an accident or a coincidence.”

100% correct. Justice Roberts is setting the stage for whatever comes down the pike from the Mueller witch hunt and/or to be able to recuse himself when this issue from the 9th Circuit hits the SC docket.

I fear Mr. Roberts is a “never-trumper”.

Roberts didn’t pick a fight. He was provoked by some slimeball from the Associated Press.

It is utterly the SCOTUS fault for not requiring nationwide orders by District Judges to have been approved by their own Ct. of Appeals or the SCOTUS. Some left wing local hack like J. Susan Dlott, appointed in quid pro quo by Clinton for massive money from her criminal husband, can issue orders to the WH and the POTUS? Absurd.

Trump must simply IGNORE JUDGES.

A 9th circuit ONLY represents San Fran.

The rest of us do not live in San Fran.

Where is a President with guts?

there may not be obama or trump judges, or republican or democrat judges, but there certainly is a RINO judge, and he’s the chief justice of the USSC.

I think that the Left is trying to back Trump into a wall. Literally and figuratively. The leftists appear to be baiting Trump into violating a court order thus providing grounds for impeachment. Trump could use the military right now to build defensive fortications which could be a wall or its equivalent.

We are headed for a showdown. As the leftist judges continue to strike down Trump’s EOs, Trump will continue to find ways to legitmately exert his constutional duty to defend the nation though new EOs.

In the near future, an incident at the border or elsewhere could provide the impetus to invoke a military police action in a specific area such as the U.S. Mexico border. Then, any interference of such an action (financial support, legal assistance to the enemy) could result in arrest for sedition.

Right now, the biggest losers are the drug cartels and human trafficking businesses. Shutting down the border would destroy their business along with money laundering globalist banks.

Bull rushing the border with tens of thosands of invaders will not help the traffickers. They want a return to the SQ. A permanent or long term militarized border is not in their interest. Perhaps the cartels will turn the invaders back.
