The zero information Washington voters voted for I-1639 based upon flawed information. Much of the increase in gun deaths among teens is due to the use of guns for suicide. However, with the access to guns, suicides are done by other means. In many countries, pesticides are used. In Japan, the most common method among both genders was hanging, followed by jumping from a high place.

With all the hysteria about gun deaths, the remarkable fact is they have gone down:

“However, with the access to guns, suicides are done by other means.” should read, “However, when the access to guns are limited, suicides are done by other means.”

I might add that when access to guns are limited, homicides are done by other means.
