Special Counsel Mission Creep!
Whitaker is now Mueller’s boss.
Now Mueller decides to investigate his legitimacy?
How does that fall under the umbrella of investigating the accusations of Russian election meddling?
Time to shut this rogue operation down.
I think this investigative organization is part of the Office of Personnel Management which handles Hatch Act violation investigations - not part of the Senate or the DOJ.
Who heads up the Office of Special Counsel? Can’t find anything helpful online..There must be a department/agency head but who?

“”And did Hillary solicit or accept any campaign contributions towards her future presidential run, during her tenure as Secretary of State?””
You makee jokee, right? A normal person would hear about this taking place and would get on their knees and count their blessings and say, “there but for the grace of God” but not her! Oblivious to anything and everything around her.
Folks, this is beyond ridiculous. What is going on here is that the democrat party is trying to sever the operation of the administrative agencies from the Executive Branch of government. In effect, making the permanent Liberal bureaucracy exempt from elected government.
Having said that, this is not Mueller but another agency that is a watchdog. They get complaints all the time and open files all the time. It doesn’t mean it goes anywhere.
Whew!
At least he didn’t commit any heavy petting back in high school.
Trying to get Whitaker to recuse himself and set us back to status quo ante.
i have a feeling that he’ll tell Mueller to p!$$ off and exercise some oversight on this farce.
So the Special Counsel is a clearinghouse to bring prosecution for any allegation brought by the same folks who rape hoaxed Kavanaugh? And in open defiance of its conflict of interest law as well as the limits of the scope of its mandate?
This law has to end and everyone in OSC put away for sedition.
See my link. His campaign committee reported donations early this year, presumably to retire some of his roughly $40k of leftover campaign debt.
On December 19, 2012, Congress passed the Hatch Act Mode rnization Act of 2012. The Act allows most state and local government employees to run for partisan poli tical office. Prior to this change, state and local government employees were prohibited from running for partisan office if they worked in connection with programs financed in whole or in part by federal loans or grants. With the change, the federal Hatch Act no longer prohibits state and local government employees from running for partisan office unless the employees salary is paid for completely by federal loans or grants.
Widespread allegations that local Democratic Party politicians used employees of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) during the congressional elections of 1938 provided the immediate impetus for the passage of the Hatch Act. Criticism centered on swing states such as Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. In Pennsylvania, Republicans and dissident Democrats publicized evidence that Democratic politicians were consulted on the appointment of WPA administrators and case workers and that they used WPA jobs to gain unfair political advantage.[4] In 1938, a series of newspaper articles exposed WPA patronage, and political contributions in return for employment, prompting an investigation by the Senate Campaign Expenditures Committee, headed by Sen. Morris Sheppard, a Texas Democrat.
Despite that investigation's inconclusive findings, many in both parties determined to take action against the growing power of the WPA and its chief administrator, Harry Hopkins, an intimate of President Roosevelt. The Act was sponsored by Senator Carl Hatch, a Democrat from New Mexico. At the time, Roosevelt was struggling to purge the Democratic party of its more conservative members, who were increasingly aligned with the administration's Republican opponents. The president considered vetoing the legislation or allowing it to become law without his signature, but instead signed it on the last day he could do so. His signing message welcomed the legislation as if he had called for it, and emphasized the protection his administration would provide for political expression on the part of public employees.
SOURCE # 2 - U.S. OFFICE OF SPECIAL COUNSEL
I think they will find him innocent, as the scant contributions really do not rise to the level that the Act was passed to deal with.
There's no such thing as an "independent federal agency".
The word "independent" is just doublespeak for being out of control by the Chief Executive and in control by the Deep State.
Not firing Rosenweasel a year ago is one of the biggest mistakes I have ever seen a POTUS make.
Why in the hell hasnt Whitaker appointed a IC to to look into the ongoing coup? Please tell me he isnt waiting for the DS to sanctify him before he acts. If he continues to fiddle fart around hell be sacked before anything other than wasting time gets accomplished. Go on offense, make the corrupt DOJ, FBI and Mueller defend their actions for once. To date no better than Sessions.
Lack of bringing those criminal Democrats to trial have embolden them to attack. We are at war both Civil and border. America is going to hurt for a long time and our economy won't save us.
Yes. The Democrats now consist of power hungry narcissists - like Hillary and Pelosi, resentment-driven ideologues who want to transform American - like Obama, and the relatively young and uninformed who have little understanding of the world and its history, and thus can easily be manipulated into thinking socialism and ‘free stuff’ are noble causes - like Ocasia-Cortez. Each of these groups have buttons that can be pushed by anti-American entities to mobilize them in an effort to permanently ‘transform’ America. We live in very dangerous times.
And HOW exactly does a “special counsel” focused on a fake Russia investigation have the power to investigate an acting Attorney General’s 2014 activities??
This is an agency headed by Henry Kerner, not the SC in the DOJ. This looks pretty routine. I don’t think this OSC even does prosecutions.
Yes, the name ‘Special Counsel’ has two different meanings.
Kind of like when Rick Scott failed to fire Brenda Snipes.
Half of the presidential term is gone, and this weasel is still there causing trouble. Doesn’t look like #winning to me.
