She chose poorly by assuming she would have the luxury of retiring under HRC.
Now she has to try to hang on by the skin of her teeth 2+ years hoping Trump won’t be reelected - must be miserable to feel that pressure. Boo hoo.
some alarmed Democrats are growing resentful that Ginsburg didnt retire when Barack Obama was in office and she had the chance to give up her seat to a like-minded judge.
Maybe she didnt want Obama to pick her successor. Maybe she was sure Obamas successor would be a liberal. Maybe she just didnt give a damn.
Bttt
I hope your predictions are accurate.
If I were a liberal I’d share their frustrations, resent her for not retiring in 2013 and curse the author of this article. LOL.
RGB did not retire when Obama was POTUS because she was saving here seat for Hillary to put in Lorreta Lynch. Hillary owed LL cause she kept her out of jail. Problem was Hillary lost, was not supposed to happen.
Breyer is 80 years old and Sotomayor has Type I Diabetes. This could get interesting fast.
It is really concerning to me that I am older than seven of the nine Supreme Court Justices!
“It is really concerning to me that I am older than seven of the nine Supreme Court Justices!”
Me too and looking at Breyer’s birthday, I’m only two years and 15 days younger that that worthless turd. And yet these people sit around trying to figure out how many angels can dance on the head of a pin while this country, badly in need of Constitutional Change has to wait. So I’ve gotten to the point where I hope that the RATs on the SCOTUS do us all a favor and just die. They are not Americans, They are three Secular Progressive Jews (aka Marxists) and a useless Mexican, none of whom speak for the bulk of us Christians who form the nucleus of what’s right and good about our country. And topping it all off you have a $hitball like Roberts, who’s “moral compass” if he ever had one, has long since gone tilt. I just hold out hope that I out-live them and that what Trump gets to replace them with is a whole lot better. We did our job giving the country a President who really does want to do good things, I just hope he continues to have the wisdom and intellect to choose our new justices wisely. We just had our annual Family Thanksgiving Dinner. As I looked at my five grandchildren, I was wondering just what their lives will be like in 50 or 60 years, after I’m no longer here to see them through.
