The entire concept of "hispanic ethnicity" is so farcical it had to have been invented by a non-hispanic liberal. As if a blond-haired, blue-eyed lawyer from Uruguay has any shared ethnic solidarity with a migrant farmhand mestizo in southern California. They both celebrate Christmas and that's about it. Even the dialects of Spanish they each speak are so different as to practically be unintelligible to one another.
