It is difficult to get permission to trim even a 30 foot wide swath of Nature around your "own" property in many places.
I’ve never been in a forest fire, but the thought of it always scared me. My parents built a log cabin in the middle of a forest. My Dad built it himself and he always said he did not want any tree falling on his house. Especially if it was on fire.
And we spent every damn weekend clearing out brush. I hated cleaning brush.
