In his first nearly three years in office, America has much to be thankful for in having Donald Trump as their President as opposed to Hillary Clinton.
Trump has been on a mission to implement policies and platforms he campaigned on like no other President possibly in our lifetime.
From domestic policy to foreign affairs, the administration has been firing off his agenda efficiently and effectively – despite being hamstrung at every turn by the liberal media, by judicial activists, and by a Democrat party that once stood for something, but now exclusively exist to resist the progress President Trump is trying to make.

It sickens me that the losers and the press belittle him to no end and it seems other than tweeting against them he leaves them alone. Then on Hannity last night I saw a segment where they are saying Trump abuses his power and MUST be impeached! Using his power would mean going after people who are not guilty. There are many, many people deserving of full-scale investigation. Why is it just Trump getting investigated?

President Trump’s greatest achievement was announcing the US withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement (& one day everyone will understand how huge that was).
it is said the withdrawal will not come into effect (due to UN tricks) until the day after the 2020 presidential election.
that is why Trump must win in 2020, although no-one has yet explained why the withdrawal wouldn’t come into effect during the transition period.

The populist electoral earthquake of 2016 has destabilized much of what we know, or thought we knew, about our country. The aftershocks are just beginning but will rattle us for months and years to come. While those who were excited to vote for the first woman president are perhaps the most shocked, so too are many of the President-elect’s supporters who didn’t expect victory, as are the Republican and Democratic establishments which have many questions to answer as well. People and countries around the world are just waking up to a brave new reality in which the United States could potentially play a significantly different role in the world from any they have seen since the Second World War.
The School of Public Policy and the University of Maryland is a ***non-partisan institution which takes no side in electoral contests. That said, it is safe to say this election has hit our community hard. We are in “Washington,” educated, diverse, coastal, cosmopolitan, internationalist, and generally think that government has an important role to play in crafting policy solutions to modern day problems and challenges. The President-elect campaigned overtly against all these things – and won. What one journalist prior to the election called a “civics lesson from Hell” has morphed into a potential validation of behaviors and attitudes that run against the grain not only of civil discourse, but also common decency and, in some instances, the law of the land.
I have heard from many in our community, especially our students, how personally you take this. I understand this. I do too. One of our students has shared that some students have withdrawn applications to work in government positions and others have even “begun questioning why they are getting this degree.” Why indeed?…
Finally, to the people of color, women, “undocumented,” international students, LGBTQ, and persons with disabilities in our community, please know that we as a united school family stand with you at this time of great angst and uncertainty. We will work with you to make our democracy work. No one will stand alone in this endeavor.

This month an article in a major conservative Lutheran magazine, when seriously discussing issues of religious liberty, never referred to President Trump by name but flippantly refer to him as "the guy that's running the show right now."

In the first place, these are not accomplishments. They are goals, you know like, mowing the lawn is an accomplishment, the goal being to keep your neighbors happy or some such, something you never really accomplish.
Goal - restore rule of law - and we have a long long long way to go. Accomplishments - the confirmation of two good SC judges and a number of federal appellate and district court judges. Done done done done done, etc.
This is far beyond a semantic quibble. It's about knowing what you are talking about and being able to think clearly so that you can write clearly and not this muddled mess.
You know, like accomplishment - liberate Raqqa from ISIS control - Done. Goal - defeat ISIS, which may never really happen completely.
Next month, in Katowice Poland, they will convene the COP 24 conference and adopt the rules on implementing the Paris agreement.
And as you pointed out, in 2019, they will convene the COP 25 conference.
