I knew better than Ronald Reagan. I was in fact a liberal Democrat. Until I saw the results of his first term, and remembered Jimmy Carter. Then I voted for Reagan in '84. He carried even New York State, bigly.

There's a lot going on today in many directions, so predicting the future is tough. But don't forget that while a man is loudly running his mouth, repeating yesterday's political talking points, his gut is quietly watching the future. That's why, without much warning, he can one day wake up to who his enemies and friends really are, and start singing a different tune.

Don't ever lose hope. Stay positive and charitable when your kith and kin are acting like buffoons. It wears away at their idiocy. It did mine. I'll pray to end the mental confusion in your family--please pray for mine!

Trump is tough and VERY savvy.....he's a smart negotiator, and,
an excellent judge of human nature----which is why his enemies hate him.....they know HE knows their vulnerabilities.
Trump sizes up his opponents, and instinctively knows the approach that works for one is not the same he'll use on another.

And remember Trump competed, survived and thrived in the most difficult business milieus in America:

Long before Trump, they set up tariffs against us for so many things. If the average American knew how badly Europe has been ripping us off for decades with their duties, no one in this country would buy anything European again.
