And to think I paid a huge amount for my daughter's wedding, and gave a huge amount of money to the couple towards a down payment for a home - and received nothing from the groom or his family. Although I don't know what I would do with a cow let alone 500 cows.
A girl I knew, way back when, was the daughter of a British diplomat. She was born in some African country and the locals were amazed by the, “white baby”.
