I hate to say it, but he may be right on the Heartbeat Bill. It would undoubtedly be challenged in Court and I assume the Judge that the opposition would file with would strike it down.

It’s interesting how one can infringe upon the 2nd Amendment all day long, but one cannot infringe upon the “right” of women to kill babies in any way, shape or form.

Then let a judge strike it down. The more abortion cases we get in the pipeline to the Supreme Court, the sooner we’ll have a decision over-ruling Roe v. Wade.

Our Governor Reynolds signed it here in Iowa. Very proud of my state for that.

So?
Ohio could appeal it all the way to SCOTUS if need be....

Yes; see my 26 for reason why such a Heartbeat bill might not be genuine.
Another issue for all pro-lifers is to realize that your fight needs to be about the actual unborn babies, and not just the law. Any obgyn can simply say, with the moms permission, that she needs a miscarriage removed by a D&C, and no one will ever know the baby had still been alive.

"...I assume the Judge that the opposition would file with would strike it down." Why? On what grounds?

The heartbeat bill would go to the SC either way. With a more reliable conservative court, it may have stood a good chance. That is why Kasich is vetoing it now he knows it might well stand up to scrutiny if allowed to pass into law. And there would go his shot at a seat on the CNN commentator panel.
